Welcome to the website for the Northampton Town School Sports Federation. Since its' inception in the late 1950's, the Federation has been involved with overseeing various sports activities between and within the schools of Northampton. Based at Lumbertubs Primary School on the eastern side of Northampton, the Federation is presently running fixtures for Football, High 5 Netball, Mini-Basketball, Tag-Rugby, Kwik-Cricket and Rounders in the towns primary schools. The next academic year should hopefully see the introduction of Quicksticks and Bat And Trap.
The aim of the programme is to provide an organisation of fixtures which will give focus for the children who already attend sports clubs and would be excited to play regular fixtures. The fixtures should promote fairplay, good sportsmanship and friendship. Children will experience both the delight and disappointment of winning and losing.
